We would like to congratulate all participants who competed in the Championship Finals at the end of July 2004.

Winners of each final will be sent certificates by email during the course of next week.

.:: Tipping Contest Winners ::.

It was the astute tipping of Stormin Norman that has made him the top tipster in the Championship Finals Tipping Contest!

He successfully picked 7 out of the 15 winning horses and has won $420 cash from the pool and a extra $100 in Bonus Credits!

Thank you to all participating members and congratulations to Stormin Norman. We hope he enjoys his prize of $520.

.:: Weights Change - Open Handicaps ::.

The majority of responses received in response to the vote on the Open Handicap weights (per newsletter and news articles) were in favor of the base weight of 100lbs and the majority of these were in support of the 2lbs penalty per win.

These changes were in affect as from Wednesday 4 August.

.:: Forum Rules ::.

We have received a number of emails from members commenting on the tactless and offending manner of posts being made in the forums recently. Some members have further noted that some aspects of the game are being given away in the posting of strategies and horse lengths. As a result we are introducing a set of rules overlooking the forums
